Yes. Send a shift preset as a link or QR code and the other person imports it in GyoDal. No account or login is needed on either side. Received rosters appear next to yours in the shared view.
Can I see when a friend and I are off on the same day?
Yes. Put several people's rosters on the same calendar and the days everyone is off stand out. This is what the shared view is for.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your data stays on the device by default.
Why is there no shift alarm?
By choice, not by limitation. An alarm the app schedules itself stops firing the moment the system marks the app battery-restricted, and an app you have not opened for days is exactly the one that gets marked — so it goes silent on the night you needed it. Alarms are left to your phone's alarm app, and GyoDal shows today's shift and your next day off on the calendar or a home screen widget.
Why is there no pay calculation?
By choice, not because the formula was hard. Pay depends on company rules and personal circumstances, and an app that shows you a wrong amount once cannot be trusted again. So instead of an amount, GyoDal totals worked days, days off, and basic, overtime, shortened and actual hours by shift type — the amount belongs to your payslip, the hours to GyoDal.
Which rotation patterns are supported?
You set the shift order and a start date yourself, so patterns that are not on any preset list still work. Repeating rotations only need the order; irregular shifts are entered per date.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not as of September 2026. An iOS version is in the works, but the date is not set.
Where can I download it?
On Google Play in South Korea, the United States, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. The app interface supports 14 languages.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, protected with AES-256 based encryption. You can optionally enable Google Drive automatic backup so you can restore after changing phones.
How many years of holidays are included?
From 1955 to 2050. US federal holidays were checked entry by entry against primary sources such as statutes and executive orders, and past dates follow the rules that were actually in force at the time — a holiday appears only from the year it was established, and a one-off closure that was declared shows up on that day. All five countries (the US, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam) were built the same way, from each country's own primary sources.
Can I import my roster from a photo?
Yes. Point the camera at the paper roster your workplace hands out, or pick a screenshot from your gallery, and GyoDal reads the table and fills in the shift order and dates. Before saving you review what it read and correct anything that came out wrong. Reading and reviewing are free. New users can save the first roster they import without a subscription (once); saving further results as presets is a paid feature.
Can it import the roster my company gives out?
The quickest way is a photo — point the camera at the paper roster or pick a screenshot, and GyoDal reads the table into a preset. If you are in South Korea, you can also search by company or workplace in Browse. We include only listed companies and their affiliates, public corporations and government bodies — each checked by a person and by an agent, free to add. If yours is not there, build the rotation yourself in about a minute, or receive it by link or QR from a coworker who already built it.
